Individual Access Terms

These Individual Access Terms apply to individual learners, parents or guardians purchasing individual access to BizEdMadeSimple, including Core Access, Premium Access or any similar individual access product.

These terms sit alongside the main BizEdMadeSimple Terms and Conditions. If there is any conflict between these Individual Access Terms and the main Terms and Conditions, these Individual Access Terms apply to the individual access purchase.

BizEdMadeSimple is operated by ECMTUTORS LTD.

  1. What individual access means

Individual access gives one named learner access to the relevant BizEdMadeSimple content for the examination series stated at the point of purchase.

Individual access is for personal study only. It is not a school licence, group licence, classroom licence, family licence or teacher licence.

Login details must not be shared with anyone else.

  1. Access is linked to an examination series, not a fixed number of months

Individual access is sold for a specific examination series.

You are not buying a fixed number of months from the date of purchase.

The access period depends on the examination series shown before payment. This may be shown on the website, request form, email, invoice or payment page.

For example, access for the May/June 2027 examination series runs until the stated expiry date for the May/June 2027 examination series.

Access for the Oct/Nov 2026 examination series runs until the stated expiry date for the Oct/Nov 2026 examination series.

The price may be the same even where one examination-series access period is longer or shorter than another. This is because the product is linked to the examination series, not to the number of months remaining when it is purchased.

  1. Expiry date

Access expires at the end of the purchased examination-series access period.

Where the payment page states that access is valid until the day after the final Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies exam in the relevant examination series, access will expire on that basis.

Access expires regardless of how much or how little the learner has used the platform.

Unused access does not carry forward and does not create an entitlement to an extension, refund, credit or transfer to a later examination series.

  1. Two-year courses and future examination series

Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies is often studied over two academic years.

Purchasing individual access for one examination series does not provide access for the whole two-year course unless this is clearly stated at the point of purchase.

For example, a learner who buys access for the May/June 2027 examination series should not assume that this includes access until the May/June 2028 examination series.

If a learner needs access for a later examination series, a further purchase may be required.

  1. Core Access

Core Access gives access to the standard BizEdMadeSimple learning content included in the Core package for the relevant examination series.

Core Access may include standard courses, videos, quizzes, revision resources, progress tracking and standard exam technique support.

Core Access does not include Premium-only content, Skill Builders and AI Tools, live sessions, one-to-one tutoring, personalised marking, school dashboards, teacher accounts or any additional services unless these are clearly stated at the point of purchase.

  1. Premium Access

Premium Access includes Core Access plus access to additional Premium features.

Premium features may include Skill Builders and AI Tools, premium resources, premium exam technique support, live revision opportunities or other additional materials where available.

Premium features may change during the access period as the platform develops. Some tools, resources or features may be added, removed, renamed, reorganised or replaced.

Live sessions, where offered, are not guaranteed to take place at fixed intervals unless this is clearly stated before purchase. Their availability may depend on demand, examination timing, platform development and practical availability.

  1. Platform development and changes

BizEdMadeSimple is an active and developing platform.

The platform may change during the access period. This may include changes to site layout, course organisation, tracking features, quizzes, resources, certificates, tools, course structure, navigation, functionality and available features.

These changes are part of the ongoing development of the platform.

Where a lower launch, introductory or transition price is offered, this may reflect the fact that the platform is still being improved.

You will continue to have access to the relevant learning content included in your access package, but the exact structure, layout and functionality of the platform may change.

  1. Account setup

Individual accounts are normally created manually after payment has been received.

Login details will usually be sent within 24 hours of payment being confirmed.

Account setup may take longer during busy periods, holidays, technical issues or where additional checks are needed.

Where the purchaser provides an incorrect email address or incomplete information, account setup may be delayed.

  1. Digital access, refunds and cancellation

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase provided that the platform has not been accessed or used.

Once the platform has been accessed or used, refunds are not normally available.

By logging into the platform or using the digital content, you acknowledge that digital access has begun.

Refunds are not available simply because:

• you changed your mind after using the platform

• you did not use the platform

• your examination arrangements changed

• you bought access for the wrong examination series

• you later realised you needed access for a future examination series

• you expected access to last for a fixed number of months

• you expected one purchase to cover a two-year course

• you no longer require the platform

• you did not achieve your desired academic outcome

• expected platform changes, layout changes, course reorganisation, tracking changes, feature changes or functionality changes take place where these were explained before purchase

Exceptional cases may be considered at our discretion.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

  1. No guarantee of results

BizEdMadeSimple is designed to support learning and revision.

We do not guarantee specific grades, marks, examination success, academic improvement, university admission or any particular educational outcome.

Students remain responsible for their own learning, revision, examination preparation and performance.

  1. Account security and sharing

Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

You must not:

• share your login details

• allow another person to access your account

• sell, transfer or lend your account

• use one account for multiple learners

• copy, record, download, reproduce or redistribute content unless clearly allowed

If we reasonably believe account sharing or misuse has occurred, access may be suspended or terminated without refund.

  1. Students under 18

Students under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian before purchasing or using individual access.

Where a parent or guardian purchases access for a student, the parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the purchase is suitable.

  1. Platform availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and working correctly.

However, uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, hosting issues, security concerns or circumstances beyond our control.

  1. Intellectual property

All videos, quizzes, resources, tools, written materials, graphics, course structures, certificates, website content and other materials on BizEdMadeSimple remain the intellectual property of ECMTUTORS LTD or the relevant rights holder.

Purchasing access gives the learner a limited right to use the platform for personal study during the access period.

It does not transfer ownership of any content.

Content must not be copied, reproduced, recorded, redistributed, sold, shared or published without written permission.

  1. Privacy and payments

Personal data is handled in line with the BizEdMadeSimple Privacy Policy.

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider.

BizEdMadeSimple does not store full card details.

  1. Changes to these terms

These Individual Access Terms may be updated from time to time.

The version that applies to your purchase is the version in place at the time of purchase, unless a change is required for legal, technical, operational or security reasons.
