These Terms and Conditions apply to BizEdMadeSimple, a website and educational platform operated by ECMTUTORS LTD.
By creating an account, accessing the platform, receiving access through a school, purchasing access, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
About BizEdMadeSimple
BizEdMadeSimple is an online educational platform designed to support students studying Business Studies.
The platform may include videos, quizzes, courses, revision materials, AI-powered learning tools, certificates, downloadable resources, live sessions, teacher dashboards, progress tracking and other educational content.
The platform continues to develop and may change over time.
Provider
BizEdMadeSimple is operated by ECMTUTORS LTD.
References to “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ECMTUTORS LTD.
References to “you” refer to the user, student, parent, guardian, teacher, school, account holder or purchaser, depending on the context.
School Access
School Access is the main access model for BizEdMadeSimple.
School Access is access arranged for a school, department, class, cohort, teacher or group of students.
School Access may be provided through a pilot, invoice, agreed school arrangement, onboarding process, Data Processing Agreement or separate written agreement.
Students do not normally purchase School Access themselves. School Access is normally arranged directly with the school, department or authorised teacher.
Where separate school terms, onboarding documents, data protection documents, a Data Processing Agreement or written agreements are provided, those documents may also apply to the school’s use of the platform.
School-Managed Accounts
School-managed accounts may be created and distributed through the school.
Where school-managed accounts are used, the school or teacher is responsible for distributing login details, managing student access and acting as the first point of contact for student account support.
Students using school-managed accounts should normally contact their teacher first if they need help with access.
School-managed accounts are intended to allow teachers to assign learning, monitor progress and support students within their authorised classes or groups.
Users Under 18
Users under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent, guardian, teacher or school before using the platform.
Where access is arranged by a school, the school is responsible for managing student access and ensuring that use of the platform is appropriate for its students.
Where individual access is purchased directly for a student under 18, the parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the purchase is appropriate.
Access Levels
BizEdMadeSimple may offer different access levels, including School Access, Core Access, Premium Access, Elite Mentoring and other access types.
Different access levels may include different content, resources, tools, support, live sessions and platform features.
The specific features and access period available within each access level will be described on the relevant website page, email, invoice, onboarding document, payment page or separate written agreement before access is provided.
Features and services may change as the platform develops.
Individual Access
Individual Access is a separate route for individual learners, parents or guardians purchasing access for one named learner.
Individual Access is not a school licence, group licence, classroom licence, family licence or teacher licence.

The Individual Access Terms explain the access period, Core and Premium differences, examination-series expiry, platform changes, refunds and account rules for individual learners.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Individual Access Terms for an individual purchase, the Individual Access Terms apply to that individual purchase.
Access and Expiry
Access is granted for the period stated at the point of setup, purchase, invoice, agreement, onboarding or written communication.
The applicable expiry date, examination period or access period will be stated before access is provided.
Access will automatically expire at the end of the relevant access period.
Access expires on the stated expiry date regardless of how much or how little the platform has been used.
Unused access does not carry forward and does not create any entitlement to an extension, refund, credit or transfer to a later access period.
Platform Content and Changes
The content, tools, resources and features available within BizEdMadeSimple may change over time.
We may add, remove, modify, reorganise or replace content, courses, resources, AI tools, certificates, features and services as the platform develops.
Purchase or provision of access does not guarantee access to future products, services, courses or features that may be introduced later.
AI Tools
BizEdMadeSimple may include AI-powered learning tools.
AI tools are not automatically available to all users, schools or access levels.
For school users, AI tools may be switched off by default and enabled only where agreed with the school, department or authorised teacher.
For individual users, AI tools may be limited to Premium Access or other eligible access levels.
AI tools are provided to support learning and revision.
AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable.
AI responses should not be treated as official exam board guidance, professional advice or guaranteed answers.
Users remain responsible for checking information independently.
Users should not enter sensitive personal information into AI-powered tools.
Payment and Refunds
Payment is made through the payment method provided or agreed by ECMTUTORS LTD.
BizEdMadeSimple does not currently take card payments directly through a public website checkout.
School payments are normally handled by invoice, payment link, bank transfer or another agreed method.
For school access, any payment, refund or cancellation terms may be set out in the relevant invoice, pilot agreement, written agreement or school communication.
Individual payments are normally made through payment links sent by email. For individual purchases, please also read the Individual Access Terms before payment.
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase provided that the platform has not been accessed or used.
Once platform access has been used, refunds are not normally available.
Refunds are not available simply because:
• you changed your mind after using the platform
• you did not use the platform
• your examination arrangements changed
• you no longer require the platform
• you did not achieve your desired academic outcome
• the platform changes in ways that were explained before purchase or access
Exceptional cases may be considered at our discretion.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Account Security and Sharing
Accounts are personal and non-transferable unless they are school-managed accounts distributed by an authorised teacher or school.
You must not:
• share your account with another person
• allow another person to access your account
• sell, transfer or lend your account
• provide your login details to others, unless required as part of authorised school account management
If we reasonably believe that account sharing or misuse has occurred, access may be suspended or terminated without refund.
Intellectual Property
All content on BizEdMadeSimple remains the intellectual property of ECMTUTORS LTD unless otherwise stated.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• videos
• quizzes
• courses
• AI tools
• written materials
• graphics
• resources
• downloadable materials
• certificates
• website content
Purchase or provision of access grants a limited licence to use the platform during the access period.
It does not transfer ownership of any content.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, recorded, sold, shared or published without written permission.
Educational Disclaimer
BizEdMadeSimple is designed to support learning.
We do not guarantee:
• specific grades
• specific marks
• examination success
• university admission
• academic improvement
• educational outcomes of any kind
Students remain responsible for their own learning, preparation and examination performance.
Platform Availability
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and functioning correctly.
However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, hosting issues, security concerns or circumstances beyond our control.
Certificates and Records
Where certificates or progress records are available, users are responsible for downloading any documents they wish to keep before their access expires.
Accounts may be archived, restricted or removed after the access period ends.
We do not guarantee continued access to certificates, progress records or account data after expiry.
Suspension or Termination
ECMTUTORS LTD reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect:
• the platform
• its users
• its intellectual property
• its operation
This includes suspected:
• account sharing
• unauthorised copying
• redistribution of content
• misuse of the platform
• dishonest behaviour
• breaches of these Terms and Conditions
Where access is terminated due to a breach of these terms, no refund will normally be provided.
Third-Party Services
BizEdMadeSimple may rely on third-party providers including payment processors, AI providers, hosting providers, video platforms, analytics providers and software services.
We are not responsible for interruptions, failures or changes caused by third-party services.
Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Statement.
The Privacy Statement explains how personal data is collected, used, stored and protected across the website, platform, school-managed accounts, individual access route, contact forms and related services.
For school-managed accounts, the school or educational institution normally acts as data controller and ECMTUTORS LTD acts as data processor, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
For individual access, website enquiries, contact forms and direct communication, ECMTUTORS LTD normally acts as data controller.

Data Processing Agreement for Schools
A Data Processing Agreement is available to schools and educational institutions before student accounts are created.
The Data Processing Agreement is designed to support school data protection requirements and explains the data processing relationship between the school and ECMTUTORS LTD.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The version in place at the time of purchase, setup or access applies unless a change is required for legal, operational, technical or security reasons.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
